Position Description:
The position is for a senior integration architect. You will be working within the ICC helping applications with design of their integration needs, in addition to doing high level designs you will be working with education and problem solving around the ICC integration platforms with the application teams using these. Primarily you will be assigned to a specific product area and will be responsible for managing their integration needs and helping them mature in usage of our self-service tools.

The main tasks will be:
Integration design
Educating and promoting self-service tools from ICC to application teams.
Educating and supporting application teams on using ICC strategic platforms (IBM MQ, 3Scale and Kafka)
Investigating and preparing the backlog for integration needs from specific product areas.

Primary Skills Required:
Knowledge of software architecture, integration concepts and integration patterns
Knowledge of creating integration design proposals and documenting them
Capability of leading developers and to communicate with stakeholders.
Scrum software development methodology, including analyzing features and stories and talking to users to understand their needs.
Continuous integration and Continuous deployment.
Agile believer, motivated and positive attitude
Ability to work well in a team

Experience Required:
Experience of messaging using IBM MQ (or equivalent)
Experience of middleware using IBM ACE (or equivalent)
Experience of developing REST API and APIM
Experience of event streaming using Apache Kafka (or equivalent)
Experience from working in a Scrum-team
Experience of Docker & Kubernetes

Additional Experience Preferred:
Experience from Azure DevOps
ELK stack and TICK stack for logging and monitoring
