Desktop Support Technician

Our client is highly regarded as a leader in the logistics, wholesale and retail sectors, offering outstanding customer experience and innovative services. Due to continued growth and business requirements, they now require a Desktop Support Engineer to enhance their ICT environment. The Role

In this role, you will be able to exemplify your technical knowledge and demonstrate your ambitious approach to support and improve the ICT environment. You will work collaboratively in a team, which will broaden your skills and help you make a real difference. With a focus on continuous process improvement and resolving the issues as close to the customer as possible. You will do this with your excellent customer service skills, ability to provide patch management across the desktop fleet and capability to meet the SLA and incident resolutions. To be successful you will be able to identify root issues and recommend permanent solutions.

Key Skills Required Include:

• 5+ years’ experience in IT Desktop Support
• IT Degree/ relevant qualifications
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills.
• Experience troubleshooting active directory and O365
• Experienced in deploying Windows 7 to Windows 10 through SCCM.
• Experience with Windows Servers, ServiceNow and Remote Desktop Support
• Knowledge of Windows and Office Suite including Windows Microsoft Defender
