In a sophisticated flow of goods, invoices and payments between our different companies and our customers there was a need to do advanced tax calculations based on different transaction types and circumstances. By a tax determination
service integrated with our common systems in real time, this was accomplished. From a technical point of view this was a challenge since it concerned core common systems with high availability demands as well as a real-time integration chain over several systems.
